Dr Bach originally called Rock Rose the ‘rescue remedy’. ‘The remedy of emergency… Other remedies in addition may also be required…’ This became the Five Flowers of Cherry Plum, Clematis, Impatiens, Rock Rose and Star of Bethlehem. It is used as a single essence and can be added with others to make individual Bach essence combinations.

Flower Rescue Remedy
The best known Bach flower remedy is the rescue remedy combination, which contains an equal amount each of Rock rose, Impatiens, Clematis, Star of Bethlehem and Cherry Plum remedies. The product Bach Flower Rescue remedy is aimed at treating stress, anxiety, and panic attacks, especially in emergencies.

This mix was created by Dr Bach to deal with emergencies and crisis – the moments when there is no time to make a proper individual selection of remedies. It can be used to help us get through any stressful situations, from last-minute exam or interview nerves, to the aftermath of an accident or bad news. Bach Flower Rescue Remedy helps us relax, get focused and get the needed calmness.

Cherry Plum: Fear of the Mind Giving Way, Uncontrollable Anger, Breakdown, Abusive, Rage.
Rock Rose: Terror and Fright, When the Patient is Very Frightened or Terrified.
Clematis: Dreaming of the Future Without Working in the Present, Daydreaming.
